Ann Blockley is a contemporary watercolour and mixed media artist known internationally for her unique and vibrant style inspired by nature. Ann’s paintings are exhibited throughout the UK and abroad and she is a frequent exhibitor at the Mall Galleries in London. This large solo exhibition in the Tithe Barn celebrates the launch of Ann’s latest book ‘Ann Blockley’s Watercolour Workshop’ (published by Batsford Books). Subjects in the exhibition will include landscape features, trees and hedgerows, wild flowers and birds; many of which have been painted in the Cotswolds where Ann lives and works. All the paintings will be for sale; also DVDs demonstrating Ann’s painting techniques, prints, cards and signed copies of all her books.
We are delighted to welcome Ann back to the Tithe Barn for her fifth exhibition here. Bourton House Garden will be open to the public throughout the exhibition period and refreshments will be available in the Tithe Barn from 10am to 4.30pm.
